About 2 years ago we were talked into buying a set of Michelin tires for my truck. Told that the side walls would likely wear out before the tread. They were that good! We had an alignment performed as well. They messed up the alignment from the beginning. After taking it back three times we eventually took it to the Tire Choice in Florence to fix it! The Sumter machine was broken and had to be serviced! Well about 30k miles later 2 of the tires are bald in the middle. This truck is serviced religiously by Frasier tire here in Sumter. We stopped by the store yesterday to have Tire Choice look at the tires and they said they could see that they were separating. They told us to bring them today and they would replace them under warranty. But today the Tire Choice Regional manager claimed that the tires were overinflated causing the problem. Yet- the tire pressure was in range when they checked it. They claimed that they could not verify how we treated the tires or maintained them. Again-there are service records available from Frasier Tire…but they did not want to see them. They also said that it was b/c the tires are on a pick up truck…and have very little weight in the back. Though this truck is used to pull and haul constantly. This company (under new management) has lost a lot of potential customers for life! I would warn you not to use this store as they will NOT stand behind their products.
These guys were quick and painless to deal with. Fair price for all four tires and four wheel alignment. Can't complain. The warranty is also cool.
Prolly a bad day. Spend more time selling your services. Putting other shops down is not good for anyone. Don't put others down. Pull yourself up
Brian and Alphonso saved my day. They were both professional, knowledgeable and kind. They have no idea the mark they left on me today by showing a little kindness. They’ve gained a loyal customer out of me. I will definitely be back and will definitely refer.
We were taking a trip and had brake problems. It was a Sunday and we couldn't find any place open where we were staying. We found this place and drove an hour north and they was able to take care of the problems. Even though they only had two people working the guy behind the counter went back and fixed her vehicle and test drove it to make sure it was safe. There was also a major snow storm happening so I don't know how else we could have got it fixed. I would recommend just because they were the only store open and willing to help us.
